PATHWAYS THROUGH AUTISM … AND OTHER DISABILITIES

“Pathways through Autism” is an event designed for parents to obtain information to help navigate through each stage of life on the road of Autism.  This will offer parents direct interaction with local providers who work in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

MARCH EVENTS AT ANGELINE and DD AWARENESS EVENTS

March 1 – Family & Friends Movie Night, “23 BLAST”, 6:00 pm in the Angeline Gym.  No admission charge but please bring two non-perishable items to help our STUFF THE BUS Food Drive.  Snacks will be provided.

March 8 – Angeline Industries Open House & Appreciation Breakfast, 7:30-9:30am in the Angeline Gym (This is by invitation only)

March 16 – Sensory Friendly Movie “SMALL FOOT” showing at the Star Theater in Upper Sandusky at 1pm.  The theater lights are dimmed, the volume toned down and children are free to move about, sing along…No one will be shushed.  Admission is free, but please bring a non-perishable item to help our STUFF THE BUS FOOD DRIVE.

March 18-22 – Spirit Week at Angeline School & Industries:  Monday:  Silly Sock Day; Tuesday:  Take It Back Tuesday (Dress in decade of your choice); Wednesday:  Sports Day; Thursday: PJ Day; Friday: Formal Dress Day

March 18 – Angeline Industries Board Meeting, 5:30 pm

March 21 – Wyandot County Board of DD board meeting, 7:30 pm

STUFF THE BUS FOOD DRIVE

Dropoff boxes for the food drive will be located at Salon 51, Upper Sandusky Library, Wyandot County Health Dept, Orians Family Chiropractor, A&A Grocery, First National Bank of Sycamore and Frederick Bros IGA.

March 15:  STUFF THE BUS van will be at Frederick Bros IGA in Carey to collect non-perishable items from 9:30-10:30am

March 22:  STUFF THE BUS van will be at A & A Grocery in Upper Sandusky to collect non-perishable items from 9:30-10:30am

CRISIS INTERVENTION/MUI REPORTING/24-HOUR ON CALL PROCEDURES

The Wyandot County DD Service & Support Administrators (SSAs) will provide 24-hour on-call services in response to emergency situations (i.e., alleged, suspected or known abuse, neglect, or other major unusual incidents) involving individuals with developmental disabilities.

The SSA office is open Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm, is located at 11028 County Highway 44, Upper Sandusky OH and the phone number is 419-294-4901.  SSAs are available for information and referral purposes, in addition to emergency situations.  Eligibility is determined concurrent to the crisis as applicable.

After 4:00 pm on weekdays, on weekends and holidays, contact the SSA on-call to assist in emergency situations that may occur.  The on-call SSA can be reached by calling 419-294-4901, press Option 4 and leave a message for the on-call SSA.  The on-call SSA will receive your voice mail and your call will be returned shortly.
